4 Dead After Gulping “Milk” in Andhra – But CBN & Pawan Are Still Screaming About Laddu
While four families are lighting funeral pyres because their loved ones drank what was sold as “milk,” chief minister chandrababu naidu and his deputy pawan kalyan are busy turning the tirumala laddu row into the biggest political tamasha of the year. Four dead. Kidneys failed. Anuria. Pure agony in Rajamahendravaram. And what’s the government’s priority? Not fixing food safety that’s clearly broken. Not raiding every shady dairy in the state. No. They’re in the assembly waving files about ghee and animal fat like it’s the only sin that ever happened in Andhra.
A local vendor – unauthorised, unregulated, untouchable till bodies dropped – supplied the killer milk. Four people gone in 48 hours. Dozens more are in hospitals fighting for their lives. health teams are scrambling, samples are being sent to labs, and house-to-house surveys are happening now. The same administration that swears it’s “pro-people” is only reacting after the corpses started showing up. And the Chief Minister? He’s promising ₹10 lakh compensation and free treatment, like it’s some grand benevolence instead of basic accountability that should have existed BEFORE people started dying.
But who cares about commoners choking on adulterated milk when there’s laddu drama to milk for votes?
Fair enough – if you’re running a political campaign.
But while they were busy scoring points on prasadam purity, actual poison was flowing through ordinary people’s kitchens in east Godavari. The same government that claims to protect “Sanatana Dharma” couldn’t protect basic milk. The same leaders who cry “sin against God” stayed suspiciously silent when God’s own children were dying from what they drank with their morning chai.
Here’s the savage list no spin doctor can delete:
• Four deaths, one arrest, 73 samples collected (including from 42 cattle) – all AFTER the tragedy, not before.
• Food Safety teams “now” collecting milk and blood samples. Where were they last month? Last year?
• cm Naidu reviews the situation and orders “best medical care” – the bare minimum any decent government should do without being asked.
• ₹10 lakh ex-gratia announced like it’s charity, not blood money for systemic failure.
• Meanwhile, every assembly session is hijacked by laddu files and “who insulted the Seven Hills” debates.
• YS jagan calls out the negligence on food safety. The ruling side calls it “politics.” Tell that to the grieving families.
Laboratory reports on the milk are awaited. Patients are being monitored. Surveys are happening. Compensation cheques will be cut. But the real poison – the one that killed four and could kill hundreds more – is the deadly cocktail of negligence and hypocrisy being served fresh from the ruling alliance every single day.
Andhra isn’t asking for speeches.
Andhra is asking for milk that doesn’t kill.
And right now, that basic demand is being drowned out by laddu soundbites.
Wake up. Or the next funeral won’t be just four families – it’ll be the funeral of whatever trust was left in this government.
