Chennai: In a significant political development in tamil Nadu, around 50,000 members from the All india Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and the Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazhagam (AMMK) are expected to join the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) tomorrow.

The joining ceremony will reportedly take place under the leadership of former chief minister O. Panneerselvam. The event is expected to be attended by senior leaders of the DMK and party cadres from various districts across tamil Nadu.

According to party sources, thousands of supporters and local-level functionaries from AIADMK and AMMK have decided to shift their allegiance to the DMK. The move is seen as a major political boost for the ruling party ahead of future political developments in the state.

Political observers note that such a large-scale shift of cadres could influence the political landscape in tamil Nadu. The joining event is expected to demonstrate growing support for the DMK and its leadership under chief minister M. K. Stalin.

Preparations are reportedly underway for the event, which is expected to witness a large gathering of party members and supporters. Further details about the venue and program schedule are expected to be officially announced soon.
