First Unit of Udangudi Thermal Power Plant Completed; CM Stalin to Inaugurate Today

Tamil Nadu chief minister M. K. Stalin will inaugurate the first unit of the Udangudi Thermal Power Plant today (Friday) through a video conference from Chennai.

Project Completion

The construction work for the first unit of the Udangudi Thermal Power Plant has been successfully completed. The power project is expected to significantly strengthen electricity generation capacity in tamil Nadu.

Virtual Inauguration

The inauguration ceremony will be conducted via video conferencing from Chennai, where the chief minister will officially dedicate the first unit of the plant to the public.
