📌 Why Use the Block Feature on Instagram?

Blocking someone on Instagram lets you stop all interactions with that account. When you block a user:

  • They can’t see your profile, posts, Stories, or Reels.
  • They can’t message you or tag/mention you.
  • Instagram does not notify them that you’ve blocked them.
This helps you control your privacy and stop unwanted interactions.

📍 How to Block Someone on Instagram

There are multiple ways to block a user — here are the most common:

1. Block from Their Profile

Open the Instagram app on your phone.

Use the search bar or your followers list to find the user’s profile.

Tap the three‑dot menu (⋮) at the top right.

Select Block.

Tap Block again to confirm.

When you block a user:

Open instagram and search for their profile.

Tap Unblock on their page.

2. Unblock from Your Blocked List
