Thoothukudi: kanimozhi Karunanidhi, while campaigning in support of DMK candidate Anitha R. Radhakrishnan in the Tiruchendur constituency, assured that major infrastructural improvements would be brought to the temple town.

Vision to Develop Tiruchendur Like Tirupati

Kanimozhi stated that Tiruchendur Murugan temple would be developed with facilities comparable to those available at tirupati temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in India.

She emphadata-sized that better amenities for devotees—including improved accommodation, sanitation, transportation, and crowd management—would be prioritized.
