Exports of agricultural products grew by 17.66 per cent to $ 4187 billion in 2020-21. However, agricultural exports increased by 19.92 per cent to $ 5021 crore in 2021-2022.
Maximum rice exports were $ 965 billion, wheat $ 219 billion, sugar $ 460 billion and pulses $ 108 billion.
Wheat exports increased by an unprecedented 273 percent, or 4 times. Exports grew by 273 per cent to $ 211.90 billion in 2021-22 from Rs 56.80 crore in 2020-21.
Agricultural exports from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, andhra pradesh and maharashtra increased.
Seafood exports stood at $ 771 billion. Exports from Mevangam, andhra pradesh, Odisha, tamil Nadu, kerala, maharashtra and gujarat increased.
Perfume exports increased to $ 400 billion for the second year in a row. coffee exports have reached $ 100 billion. coffee exports from Karnataka, tamil Nadu and kerala have increased.
Apart from this, vegetables and mangoes are exported from Varanasi, bananas from Anantapur, oranges from Nagpur, mangoes from Lucknow, bananas from Theni, pomegranates from Solapur and mangoes from krishna Chittoor.
