Mumbai's black and yellow cabs have returned to uber after being closed during the Corona season. Taxi drivers in cities throughout the world, including india, London, Paris, and Rome, are dissatisfied with the introduction of ride-sharing services. uber india is resuming its experiment of adding Mumbai's black-and-yellow cabs on its platform. In the city, the corporation had begun a pilot project. It was compelled to withdraw due to the coronavirus epidemic that was raging at the time. There are already 5,000 registered local cab drivers on uber this time. However, only one-fifth of these drivers are currently active on the site. This has been reported in the business Standard.

The decision to continue this trial comes at a time when uber is attempting to put the city's taxi services under its control. This will allow ordinary cab drivers to use the uber app to supplement their revenue and make money during off-peak hours. With this trial, uber is also reaching out to black-and-yellow taxi drivers who are upset because their services are negatively impacting the black-and-yellow taxi sector. According to taxi industry estimates, mumbai has around 30,000 black-and-yellow cabs. The company's goal is to get these drivers to use its platform.

It already offers package delivery, intra-city public transportation, inter-city public transportation, and rental services. Taxi drivers in india are dissatisfied with the rise of ride-sharing services. Not only that, but several unions have gone on strike for years in order to oppose wage cuts.

Protests against ride-sharing businesses have taken place in a number of cities throughout the world, including London, Paris, and Rome.
