Growth in the 2nd quarter
Not only its indian business, but its international business also registered a growth of 15% in the second quarter. Our business has seen good growth in countries like Mexico, China, Brazil, india, South Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, turkey and Poland. It is also seeing good growth in emerging markets.
Development in a dual target
However, the company said that it has seen growth in a single destination in Vietnam. Convenience foods in the same AMESA region saw a 10% growth in unit volume. However, growth in the first quarter was double-digit.
Bad effect
After two consecutive summers during the Corona lockdown period, india announced a harsh summer with consumers returning to offices and schools, colleges. Due to which its business was badly affected.
Lace Chips and Pepsi
The maker of Lay's Chips and Pepsi drinks has also said it has a significant presence in india and China. Since the beginning of this year till now, we have gained a certain snacks market share in many international countries including China, UK, india, Saudi Arabia, turkey and Vietnam, the company said in its announcement.
Rate of return
PepsiCo reported a 5.2% increase in total revenue to $20.23 billion. This is expected to further increase in the coming quarters.
