Indian billionaire stock investor Rakesh passed away...
Veteran investor and founder of Akasa air Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away today at the age of 62. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in mumbai and was suffering from a long illness. Recently, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-owned Akasa air started its commercial flight operations on august 7, 2022. Akasa air is a low-cost airline and has commenced its operations at a time when the indian aviation industry is trying to regain the confidence it has lost in the aftermath of coronavirus. The rising ATF is affecting the ticket prices and many technical issues are resulting in the loss of customer interest in the flight. Akasa air brings a new energy with its brand new aircraft, curated menu and cabin crew dress.
Akasa air is the first indian airline to introduce custom trousers, jackets and sneakers for its in-flight crew. The trouser and jacket fabric is specially designed for Akasa air, using recycled polyester fabric made from pet bottle plastic salvaged from marine waste. Café Akasa will offer a wide choice of fusion cuisine, varied menu options such as pasta, Vietnamese rice rolls, hot chocolate and a year-round menu inspired by indian cuisine and celebrations. Akasa Air's perishable food packaging is sourced from ethically grown sustainable crops.
