Mukesh Ambani to buy tamilnadu company..?!
Speaking at the 45th annual meeting of reliance Industries Group, Isha Ambani announced plans to start a new business in the FMCG segment this year and expand across the country. reliance Retail has around 200 million registered customers. This is more than the combined population of Germany, Britain, and Italy. mukesh ambani and Isha Ambani believe that the FMCG division will help in a big way to take the business of reliance Retail to the next level.
Reliance Industries is planning to buy a tamil Nadu company for this purpose. reliance Industries is planning to expand its FMCG business by acquiring existing companies in the market without creating new brands and expanding it to reach customers and businesses quickly. For this, Cavincare has decided to take over the brands of Garden Namkeens, Lahori Jeera, and bindu Beverages and its business and merge them into its FMCG business unit.
This enables reliance Industries to sell more brands and products in a shorter period. Similarly, bindu Beverages is packaging and selling bindu Mineral Water under the name of SG Corporations. Also, Garden Namkeens, owned by the Cavincare Group headquartered in Chennai, manufactures and sells snacks such as rolls and mixers.
The company has been operating since the year 2000 and is selling more than 20 types of snack products. The 3 companies namely Garden Namkeens, Lahori Zeera, and bindu Beverages have not made any official announcement regarding the takeover of reliance Industries. reliance has already bought Jaysurya's retail store wholesale in tamil Nadu.
Similarly, a few countries ago reliance announced the acquisition of the campa cola brand, a leading cola brand that flew the flag in india in the 1970s and 1980s, for around Rs 22 crore. These brands are bound to capture large volumes of business in the FMCG segment.
