FSSAI increases tension in Restaurants..!? Mandatory..!?
Now it seems that the FSSAI directive will come into force that all restaurants, big and small, must list the food items on their menu cards along with their calories. In this regard, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of india (FSSAI), subject to the regulations, is expected to be implemented soon.
According to this, those who buy food should now give the calorie details of their order such as pizza, burger, or butter chicken depending on its data-size. Earlier it was stated that this calorie quantity should be mentioned as kcal. Through this food, lovers can know the calorie quantity of the food they are eating. Through this, we can be aware of the richness of healthy life. This regulation by FSSAI will start with big restaurants first. It also said that gradually it will be implemented for small restaurants. It has also been reported that most restaurants have expressed their support for this. However, there are reports that many people have asked for time.
FSSAI had already issued a notification in this regard in 2020. However, the restaurants have asked for time till january 1, 2022, to implement it. After that, the deadline was again extended till July 1. Now that this period has ended, such information has been released. However, the official information is expected to be released soon. Do you go to McDonald's or McVeggie? This will give you an opportunity to know how many calories are in the pizza, burger, and chicken you are eating.
There are reports that FSSAI has also sought time for many restaurants to implement this regulation. It is expected that this may be the first attempt to control the problem of obesity in the country. It is noted that it is in force in countries including England.
