Elon Musk has imposed restrictions on the world's largest microblogging site. Elon Musk fired many people as soon as he became the owner and after that he launched twitter Blue service which is a fee based service. Earlier Blue Tick was available on twitter for free but after becoming the owner of Elon Musk, started taking money for Blue Tick and now Elon Musk has banned even viewing tweets.
Elon Musk has said that users with blue ticks will be able to see or read 6000 posts per day, whereas for those without blue ticks, this limit is only up to 600 posts. Elon Musk said that this is a temporary arrangement that has been implemented to prevent large-scale data theft and manipulation of the system. Meanwhile, there is news of a decrease in the users of twitter and the users of Mastodon, Bluesky and Spill are continuously increasing.
This is not the first time that there has been an increase in downloads of Mastodon. Even before this, the number of downloading of micro-blogging site Mastodon had increased overnight as soon as Elon Musk became the owner of twitter last year. During that time, this app was downloaded by about 70 thousand users in a single day.
Now at the end of last week, the number of active users of Mastodon has crossed the figure of 2,94,000. This information has been given by the CEO of the company himself, Eugen Rochko. The total number of accounts on this platform has crossed 10 million.
Nearly half of the company's employees were fired after Musk's twitter acquisition last year. After which two employees fired from twitter were engaged in making Twitter's alternative app (Spill). Now Spill is making a splash in the app market. The app's creators, Alfonzo Fonze Terrell and Devaris Brown, say the Spill app will cater to "culture drivers" and serve as a refuge for Black twitter creators.
The Spill app started trending on Apple's App Store over the weekend and became the third most downloaded app after Musk's tweet limit statement. Over one lakh people have joined Spill in the last three days. Talking about the features of Spill, it also has a live news feed like other social media platforms. Apart from this, options for photos, videos, text and GIFs are available for reply and comment. You can also use hashtags on this.

After the recent decision of Elon Musk, Bluesky users have got 2,50,000 users in just two days. The company is getting 50-70 new users every hour.
