DGCA has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with european union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The MoU will focus on cooperation between the two civil aviation authorities on unmanned aircraft and innovative air mobility. The Ministry of Aviation gave this information in a statement.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has signed an agreement with the european union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on unmanned aircraft systems and innovative air dynamics during the EU-India Aviation Summit to be held in New delhi on april 20, 2023, the statement said. Signed an MoU.
It further added that as a next step in mutual cooperation, DGCA has signed an MoU with EASA for cooperation in Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Innovative Aerodynamics. The MoU will focus on cooperation on unmanned aircraft and innovative air mobility between the two civil aviation authorities.
The MoU will ensure regular information sharing between both the authorities on technological developments and research in this area and also their respective strategies for outreach to stakeholders. Further the MoU will result in cooperation in conducting conference workshops, training programmers by DGCA and EASA in this area.
