Tribal Clash in the Jungles: 15 Killed...?
At least 15 people have been killed in a clash between tribal people in Pakistan's jungles
Two tribes, Gaidu and Bever, live in the Khurram district of Pakistan's khyber pakhtunkhwa province. Both parties claim ownership of a specific area of forest in Khurram district. There have been occasional clashes between the two sides in this regard.
At that time, some of the Gaidu tribesmen who came there argued with the Beaver people not to take firewood, claiming that it was their own territory. At the end of the argument, the Gaidu tribes opened fire on the Beverly people.
Clashes erupted between the two sides following the incident. Both sides infiltrated the opposition village and clashed. So far 15 people have been killed in the violence. Many have been injured.
A ceasefire agreement has been reached between the two sides. It is forbidden for both parties to collect firewood in the forest area in question.
