Two years jail Punishment for this Samajwadi Hero!!


Popular bollywood actor and senior politician raj babbar has been sentenced to two years in jail. He was found guilty in a 26-year-old case and sentenced to jail and fined. raj babbar was found guilty of assaulting a polling officer in the 1996 elections and was sentenced to jail and fined.



Congress leader raj babbar was convicted of voluntarily causing hurt to a government servant in the discharge of his duties. During the elections in May 1996, raj babbar assaulted a polling officer.

 Raj Babbar was contesting from the Samajwadi party when he attacked an officer named Shri krishna Singh Rana. According to his complaint, an FIR was filed against raj Babbar. The polling officer filed a complaint against several people including raj babbar at the Wazirganj police station.


The court also fined raj babbar Rs. raj babbar was present in the court when the verdict was delivered.


Raj Babbar along with his supporters entered the police precinct and assaulted the polling staff and also affected the voting process.

Arvind Singh Yadav, an accused in the same case, died during the trial. Later, the court released raj babbar on interim bail. Allowed to file an appeal against the judgment.


Raj Babbar expressed his displeasure over the court verdict. Immediately after the verdict, raj babbar said that he will challenge the decision in the High Court.
