The police arrested college students who smuggled drugs from Andhra to chennai and sold it. In the name of ``Operation Ganja Vettai 2.0'', the police are conducting operations in tamil Nadu regarding the sale of drugs. Nevertheless, cannabis sales continue to grow. In this situation, the police received a tip-off that drugs was being sold in the Selaiyur area near the tambaram area of Chennai.
Following this information, the Prohibition police conducted an investigation in the area. At that time, 4.3 kg of drugs was seized during a raid where some college students were staying in that area. Following this, the police arrested four college students from Andhra Pradesh.
During the investigation conducted with them, it was revealed that they were sellingdrugs which was brought secretly from Andhra Pradesh. It is also said that on some occasions these people went to andhra pradesh to buy and sell drugs.
Following this, Selaiyur area police registered a case against the four persons and produced them in court, and imprisoned them. The incident of college students being arrested for selling drugs has caused a shock. This incident was a total shock to everyone.
