Police reported on thursday that a 22-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in a hotel room in Kaloor in the port city late on wednesday night. It is believed that her male companion was responsible. He abruptly stabbed her multiple times with a knife when they were having a dispute inside the hotel room, a top police official told PTI. When he heard noises emanating from the room, another hotel employee called the police, who quickly arrived at the scene.Even though the victim was sent quickly to a nearby private hospital, the staff there proclaimed her dead. The officer claimed that after a thorough interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime after originally refusing to do so. "According to his statement, they were together for a while. But recently, he started to have some concerns that reshma was using black magic to weaken him, he added. He "questioned" reshma in-depth about this prior to the savage murder and videotaped their conversation on his mobile phone, which was later found by the police. Naushid will shortly appear in court, the police said.
