'No place to bury Akshay', father knocks door of High Court…?

The father of the accused in the badlapur sexual assault case knocked the door of bombay high court on friday (September 27) demanding a place to bury his son Akshay Shinde. amit Katarnavare, the lawyer of Akshay Shinde, the accused in the badlapur case and killed in an encounter, said that we had filed a petition in the bombay high court today on behalf of Akshay Shinde's parents.

The lawyer said that it was said in the petition that there is no place to bury Akshay Shinde. The purpose behind burying Akshay Shinde is not that we want to preserve his body, it is their tradition under which they want to bury Akshay Shinde's body.

The next hearing in the case will be on Monday

After hearing the arguments of the public prosecutor and the lawyer of Akshay Shinde's parents, the bombay high court said that if the body is not buried by monday, then inform the court. The next hearing in this case will be on Monday.

Accused Shinde was arrested last month

Let us tell you that last month, 24-year-old Shinde was arrested for sexually assaulting two girl students in a school in badlapur town of thane district. Earlier this week, he was being taken from Taloja jail to badlapur in connection with a case registered against him on the complaint of his second wife, when he was allegedly killed in police firing.

Accused Akshay Shinde killed in police encounter

The incident took place near Mumbra bypass in thane on monday evening. It was told that accused Shinde allegedly snatched a policeman's gun, after which he was killed in alleged retaliatory firing by the police. The family had claimed on thursday (September 25) that Shinde had expressed his wish to be buried instead of cremation. According to the information, however, Akshay Shinde's body has been kept in the mortuary of a hospital in Kalwa area of Thane. According to Shinde's family, there are a lot of difficulties in finding a place for his burial.
