The World health Organization (WHO) has advised that christmas and New Year celebrations could be canceled as the Omicron infection is on the rise around the world. Speaking to reporters in Geneva, the head of the organization, Tedros Adhanom, said there was evidence that the Omicron virus could spread faster than the delta type. Adhanom also said that Omicron is spread to people who have been vaccinated and who have recovered from corona infection.Vaccination efforts have intensified as the corona wave has accelerated again in the UK. The UK government plans to vaccinate everyone by the end of this year. Chief minister arvind kejriwal has urged the Union government to allow booster vaccination for corona in Delhi. Corona infection in delhi has increased sharply in the last few days. 28 people have been affected by the Omicron infection alone.
