Last year, bollywood producer boney kapoor expressed his displeasure when rajamouli decided on postponing his movie 'RRR' from june 2021 to october 13, 2021. boney produced the bollywood movie 'Maidaan' starring ajay devgn in the lead role was also slated on the same day.
Rajamouli's placement of 'RRR' against 'Maidaan' was unethical, according to boney kapoor, because they had declared their release intentions a long time ago. Not only that as ajay devgn is playing the lead role in his movie.  Boney Kapoor was forthright in his criticism of Rajamouli. However, he no longer appears to have any conflicts with Rajamouli.
