Man shouts 'tareekh par tareekh' in court and broke furnitures.
Rakesh, a resident of Delhi's Shastri Nagar, had come to the Karkardooma court in connection with a matter that had been pending since 2016, according to reports.
On one such visit to the Karkardooma court on July 17, Rakesh screamed the line 'tareekh par tareekh' — a dialogue from the film Damini — and vandalised furniture and computers in the courtroom while the case was being heard.
Rakesh also destroyed the judge's dais inside the courtroom, according to reports from the police. Following the commotion, Rakesh was apprehended by onlookers and brought before a magistrate after a case was filed at the Farshbazar police station.
Rakesh was arrested by the delhi police under sections 186 (willfully obstructs any public servant in the execution of his official responsibilities), 353 (assaults or uses criminal force against any person who is a public servant), 427 (mischief), and 506 (mischief) (criminal intimidation).
