SpiceJet flight collides with pole at the airport...


On the morning of march 28, an accident was averted at the delhi airport. A wing of a SpiceJet plane carrying passengers from delhi to srinagar collided with an electric pole while pushing back. It is a matter of relief that no one was hurt and there is no news of any injury. After the aircraft was damaged, all the passengers were shifted to another aircraft and sent off. In this case, an inquiry has been ordered by SpiceJet.


SpiceJet spokesperson has stated the incident. According to this, SpiceJet flight SG 160 was scheduled to operate between delhi and Jammu on march 28. During the pushback, the right-wing trailing edge came into contact with a pole, causing damage to the ailerons. A replacement aircraft was arranged to operate the flight.

According to reports, the plane was moving from the passenger terminal to the runway when the incident took place. After this accident, the plane was brought back to the way and the passengers were seated in another plane.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has started an investigation into the matter. No passengers were injured, although the right wing of the plane was damaged.
