5G auction delayed again in India..? Reason..?
It has been reported that the much-anticipated
5g auction in
india will be delayed again. In this context, the
5g auction is expected to be delayed again as it is expected that the
5g technology will come into effect from Independence Day this year. But the
5g auction is currently being delayed again, according to telecom sources.
The
5g auction is said to be delayed because telecom
service providers and
technology companies have expressed interest in using private networks. It is learned that the
cabinet has not yet approved the Troy plans for the
5g launch and the announcement seeking applications for the
5g auction will be released only after the
cabinet approves it. Thus the
5g auction is said to last at least a month or two.
Due to this, the
5g auction is doubtful to take place in
june as already announced, but telecom sources say that the
5g auction is likely to take place soon. Leading companies like Amazon, Cisco, Facebook, Google, Intel, Adani, and
reliance are members of the Broadband
india Forum.
In this context, the
central government had announced that 6G networks would be launched in
india by the end of 2023 or 2024.
But will the 6G
technology go ahead as planned as the
5g spectrum auction has not yet taken place?
