A confession by well-known Pakistani columnist Nusrat mirza has become a topic of discussion in India. mirza said he had come to india several times during the congress regime. He had gathered intelligence by coming here. All this he did at the behest of the Pakistani intelligence agency 'Inter-Services Intelligence' (ISI). Nusrat also said that during the tenure of the then Vice President Hamid Ansari, he was invited to visit india several times.

During his visit to india, mirza got many special facilities from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry. Nusrat said, 'ISI' has a separate wing to collect information related to indian leaders. Due to lack of experience, ISI is yet to make much use of this wing. However, ISI has adopted many modalities for this.

In the year 2020, two officials of the Pakistani High Commission, Tahir Khan, and Abid Hussain, were sent back to pakistan on charges of espionage. Both of them were said to be members of the Military Intelligence of Pakistan. He was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing sleeper cells. 11 Navy personnel were arrested for spying on Pakistan. All of them were trapped in the honeytrap through social media.

This personnel was caught from naval bases like mumbai and Visakhapatnam. ISI agent Aftab, a resident of Comb Tola, UP, was sentenced to five years imprisonment in July 2022 for espionage. Habibur rahman was arrested from Pokhran, rajasthan in connection with keeping important documents of the indian Army.

Delhi police had recovered indian Army documents from Rehman's possession. ISI has been exposed to the use of many mediums like gaming apps, music apps, and entertainment apps. Before the Pathankot attack, an air Force personnel posted at the airbase was caught spying. Here ISI used 'Husn'. ranjeet KK was arrested by the police due to espionage.

In 2015, Kaifyatullah Khan and Abdul Rashid were caught spying. Both of them were in touch with ISI through email and WhatsApp. Both of them were given the responsibility of setting up the sleeper cell of ISI. He had passed information related to BSF to ISI.
