India's game changer against China?...

Even though the Line of Actual Control (LAC) dividing india and china from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh seems calm, china is trying to strengthen itself on its data-border. Due to this, the indian army is also continuously trying to increase its strength on LAC. In such a situation, now the indian army is going to take such a step, which is being considered as a game changer against the People's Liberation army of china on LAC. The indian army is preparing to deploy its indigenous light tank Zorawar on the LAC in the month of April, which is likely to increase the firepower of the indian army in difficult mountainous areas.

Permission has been given for the purchase of 354 Zorawar tanks in December.

A report claims that the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and private company Larsen & Toubro jointly created the Zorawar tank (L&T). This tank has been manufactured indigenously under 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan'. Through this campaign, the aim of the government of india is to promote indigenous defense production. In December, the Defense Acquisition Council of the Ministry of Defense has approved the Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for the purchase of 354 Zorawar tanks.

This tank was introduced for the first time in october last year

L&T served as the primary system integrator for the indian Defense Research Wing when creating the Zorawar light tank prototype.

According to the IDRW report, the Zorawar tank, which weighs roughly 25 tonnes, made its debut at the Defense Expo in october of last year.
