P.K. Rosy, who became the first female lead in malayalam film, is honoured in today's Doodle. Rosy was born Rajamma on this date in 1903 in Thiruvananthapuram, often known as Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala.She broke several barriers when she played the female lead in the film "Vigathakumaran" (The Lost Child), especially since performing arts were not generally supported for women in many data-facets of society.Rosy developed an interest for acting from a young age.
