A new ram temple will be inaugurated in ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on january 22nd during the Kolakala festival. prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the temple. The program is telecasted live in many cities of the country, where the public gathers. Devotees can watch this program on TV. Devotees will be allowed for darshan from january 24 after the inauguration. At this stage, there are things that everyone should know about ram temple and its history.
Ram temple Case: On november 9, 2019, a five-judge bench headed by then Chief Justice ranjan gogoi delivered the judgment in the years-long case. Following this, the way was born to build a ram temple in Ayodhya. It was also ordered to provide 5 acres of alternate land in Uttar Pradesh for the construction of a mosque.
Foundation Laying Ceremony: The foundation laying ceremony for the new ram temple was held on 5th august 2020 under the leadership of prime minister Modi.
Trust Organisation: Shri ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is looking after the construction work of the ram temple. The supreme court is also monitoring the construction work.
Ram temple Mandapams: There are also 5 mandapams namely Niruthya Mandapam, Ranga Mandapam, Sabha Mandapam, Prayer Mandapam, and Kirtan Mandapam. The entrance is on the east side. Devotees have to enter through 32 steps through the lion hole. Ramps have also been set up for the convenience of the differently abled.
Important sanctuaries in ram temple: No iron is used anywhere in the temple. Separate temples are built for Lord Surya, Goddess Bhagwati, Vinayagar, and shiva in the temple complex. Annai Annapoorani temple is located in the north direction. On the south side is Anjaneya Temple.
Ram temple Cost: Ram temple Construction Cost Sri ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra estimates that 1,800 crores will be spent on the construction of the grand ram temple by 2022.
