How does the chaiwala become an IAS officer?

Success story of tea seller: Himanshu Gupta from Siroli, a small village in Bareilly in UP, was very attracted to see the lifestyle of big and successful people on TV. He also wanted that one day he could be a part of such life, although the ground of truth is very hard, big dreams are shattered by falling on it. He is a son of a daily wage earner who did not let his dreams break but weaved them with great love. Eventually, this boy, who sold tea at a tea stall with his father, passed the UPSC exam and became an IAS officer without any coaching.

Himanshu's childhood was not like ordinary children, he had spent his days in extreme poverty. Himanshu's childhood difficulties can be gauged from the fact that his school was 35 km away from home.

He used to travel 70 km every day that too just to get a basic education. After this, he used to help his father in the tea stall. In such a situation, you can guess for yourself how much time he used to study, but Himanshu was sharp in mind, he used to learn things quickly and he took less time in studies than other students. Similarly, Himanshu took education till class 12.

While searching for good institutes in india on his father's phone, he read about delhi University. Luckily his marks were good and he got admission.

He taught tuitions, wrote paid blogs, and got scholarships wherever possible. Thus his education was completed.

Himanshu prepared for UPSC without coaching. There were two reasons for not being able to do his coaching. One is money and the other is always relying on self-study. Himanshu took the exam after preparing diligently but failed miserably in the first attempt.

In the year 2019 March, he completed his thesis, and a month later in april 2019, the result of his civil service came, Himanshu got selected and he got a place of rank 304.

So from this success story, we have to dream big then we can reach whatever in life. Dream, work hard and believe in yourself because dreams do come true one fine day.
