They had deposited this money as coaching fees. The total number of such disputed cases so far is Rs 2.39 crore. These students not only got their money back but also did not have to go to court.
Complaints were constantly coming on the National Consumer Helpline
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs said on sunday that with the intervention of the central government, students who took admission in coaching for UPSC Civil Services, IIT, Medical Entrance, CA and other entrance exams have been given justice without a case. According to the official statement, about 656 students of various coaching institutes have been given refund through National Consumer Helpline.
Coaching institutes were harassing students on the issue of refund of fees

By running a special campaign, about 1 crore rupees have been refunded to the students.
More than 16 thousand complaints were received against coaching institutes
National Consumer Helpline had received about 16,276 complaints in the last 12 months from students about making false promises, poor quality of teachers and canceling the course. In such a situation, immediate action was taken to solve their problems. students across the country have benefited from this.
