All the scientists in every nook and corner of the whole world are doing extensive and relentless research to find a cure for COVID-19. But no country has seen successful results in inventing a vaccine for the virus. Many have claimed to have found the vaccine, but no one could successfully cure even a single coronavirus patient so far. It looks like finding a cure for the virus and supplying it to the patients is far away.  Like the old saying ‘Prevention is better than cure’, it is essential now to not get infected by the virus by taking necessary health measures.
In this condition, it is important to consume food with immunity-boosting foods and more importantly food that contains vitamin-K. Recent scientific study shows that thousands of COVID-19 deceased patients have a deficiency of Vitamin-K. So, the scientists suspect that vitamin-K might have corona fighting elements. A significant study conducted in a reputed hospital showed that COVID-19 related deaths also had a specific condition related to vitamin-k deficiency.
COVID-19 leads to clotting of the blood in the body and destroys the cells that help the respiration in the lungs. But vitamin-k helps to avoid blood clotting in the body. It also protects the lungs and enables proper functioning. Dutch scientists are preparing and collating funds to start research on vitamin-k helping save coronavirus patients. Well-known doctor Rob Johnson said that people should consume foods with vitamin-K regularly. He mentioned that vitamin-k helps the proper functioning of lungs, blood vessels, and bones.
Vitamin-K can be found abundantly in spinach, Roselle leaves, Malabar spinach, Amaranth leaves, fish, eggs, Junnu (sweet cheese made from milk). Making sure that everyday food contains these foods can help you get vitamin-K and this can help you in building immunity to coronavirus.
