Increasing corona ...  Healthcare Department to be ready?

As the corona vulnerability and omicron threat in the country increased, various states re-enacted the already relaxed restrictions. The Federal Department of health continues to guide preventive measures. In this context, Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya today held consultations with all state health ministers and key officials. The meeting discussed the intensification of precautionary measures given the growing threat of omicron and the impact of the corona.

The issue of the corona vaccine being given to children between the ages of 15 and 18 in the country was also discussed at length at the meeting. The Union health minister stressed the need to adhere to the four procedures of ‘corona examination, detection, treatment and vaccination of those in contact with the victims’.

"We have fought a fierce war against the Corona before. We have to fight against omega by using the lessons learned in the past. To deal with a large number of corona infections, the health structure must be kept in a state of readiness.States must make proper use of corona term funds. States need to be informed and get the vaccines they need. States lagging in vaccination should take immediate action, ”said Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
