So far 3071 cases of Omicron have been registered in the country, these states have the least number of cases



The latest update of patients suffering from corona in the country has come to the fore. 



The total cases of Omicron have reached 3071, while 1,41,986 new patients of Corona have appeared.



The havoc of coronavirus is increasing continuously in the country. In the last 24 hours, the number of patients infected with Kovid-19 has reached 1,41,986. 



With this, the daily positivity rate has increased to 9.28%. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, the death toll of 285 people from Corona has also come to the fore, while 40,985 patients have recovered. 



At present, there are 4, 72, 169 active cases of corona in India.


1. Omicron's 3071 Case


Talking about the new variant of Corona, Omicron, according to the Union health Ministry, so far 3071 cases have been reported from 27 countries and union territories across the country. Out of these, 1203 patients have recovered.


2. Highest from maharashtra and Delhi


The highest number of cases in the country are from maharashtra and Delhi. According to the information, while 876 cases of Omicron have been registered from maharashtra, 381 of these patients have also recovered. 



So far 513 cases of Omicron have been reported in Delhi. Of these, only 57 have recovered.



3. Omicron has the least number of cases here


 After this, the highest number of cases were registered from Karnataka, 333. At number four is rajasthan with 291 cases. Apart from this, only two cases of Omicron have been registered from puducherry and Punjab.



4. Omicron Cases Growing Faster


The head of the Kovid Task Force, Dr. nk Arora, had recently said during an interview that the third wave of the corona has arrived. Its new variants are spreading rapidly. 



In cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, at present 75 percent of the cases are related to Omicron variants. In such a situation, the graph of the corona is going to increase rapidly in the coming days.



5. The knock of the third wave


Recently, a joint study of the indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Bangalore has also expressed the possibility of a third wave. 



According to this study, the third wave of corona can be at its peak in the country from the last week of january to February. During the third wave, an average of 10 lakh cases can be reported every day.
