After so much positive information about dosterlimab, it seems that the cancer epidemic is going to end from the world very soon, but it is not so. In fact, the first reason for this is that it has been found to be effective on only one type of cancer (rectal cancer). It has not even been tried in cancer occurring in other parts of the body. In such a situation, no estimate can be made of its effect there. Secondly, it is an extremely expensive drug. At present, the cost of one dose is 11 thousand dollars. Six doses have been reported for a patient with rectal cancer. In this way, the minimum cost of treatment reaches up to 60 to 75 lakh rupees in indian currency, which can be borne by a few people. It's the same thing. However, its price can be expected to come down in the coming time.

It has to be kept in mind that the conventional treatment of cancer itself is already very expensive, but some of the problems which remain in the way of this treatment, some answers will be given in the coming time. For example, a clinical trial conducted on just 18 patients cannot be considered very reliable - even if its success is 100%. First, there is a need to significantly expand the scope of such testing. Such trials involve patients from different age groups, different countries and at different levels and reduce the duration of the trial.

The results will need to be reviewed by extension by at least five years. If even then the success rate remains the same, then only we can say that this medicine is really effective.

There is also a apprehension that there is no agenda behind this to make huge money for the pharmaceutical companies. In the case of Corona medicines, some such examples have come to the fore, in which it was claimed that they provide complete treatment of Kovid, but later those claims proved to be air-tight. However, in the meantime, those companies made a lot of money by selling those medicines all over the world. In such a situation, before bowing to the new cancer medicine, it would be right to wait for the picture of its advantages and disadvantages to be clear.

Exacerbating physical inactivity The direct meaning of a fatal disease like cancer in a person's body is the uncontrolled growth of cells in an organ or place. The uncontrolled growth of cells affects the tissues of the body and in most cases engulfs the rest of the body. From a one-year-old infant to an elderly 80-90 years old, there can be such unnecessary growth of cells that causes more than a hundred types of cancer. Some of the common types of cancer are breast cancer, cervical cancer, blood cancer, bone cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, mouth and throat cancer, skin cancer and brain cancer etc.

Cancer is often caused due to lack of physical activity, harmful and contaminated food, consumption of drugs like alcohol and tobacco etc. Apart from this, obesity is one of the major causes of cancer. cancer has also been transferred from one generation to another due to genetic reasons. Sometimes the side effects of medicines lead to cancer.

According to a report of the National cancer Registry Program, the rate of cancer affected in the country is 70.23 persons per lakh. In the year 2020, 13.9 lakh people were suffering from cancer in India. It is estimated that this figure will reach 15.7 lakh by 2025. According to the World health Organization (WHO), the rate of cancer patients in india is low compared to the rest of the world. However, despite this, 15 percent of the people here lose their lives due to cancer. european countries such as denmark have the highest number of cancer victims in the world, where the rate of cancer affected is 338.1 persons per lakh. The reason for the high number of cancer deaths in our country is that most of the people go to the hospital or doctor when the situation gets out of control. In this regard, the National cancer Institute estimates that every year 70,000 people die of cancer in the country, out of which 80 percent of the deaths are due to indifferent attitude towards the disease. The real reason for the 90% mortality rate among female cancer patients is due to apathy towards the disease.
