An increase in cholesterol doubles the risk

When this vein gets blocked, blood or fluid starts leaking out of the retina. When this happens, the part of the retina, which is called the macula, begins to swell. If there is high cholesterol, then the problem of blockage of these veins doubles. 

Symptoms include:

1- Difficulty in seeing with one eye

2-Blurred vision

3- Pain in the affected eye or pain in one eye.
