INSACOG is preparing a report using nationwide SARS-CoV-2 genetic surveillance, sentinel sites, and sequencing of samples from foreign travelers to India. In the last 24 hours, 170 new cases of corona infection have been confirmed in India, according to a statement released by the Union Ministry of health yesterday. In 2020, a total of 4,46,80,094 cases of infection have been confirmed since the start of the epidemic 2020, the number of people receiving treatment has decreased to 2,371, and the death toll is 530,721.
According to the health Department, the number of people receiving treatment for the infection has increased to 0.01% and the number of people who have recovered has increased to 98.80%. 223 people in Karnataka, 1,369 people in Kerala, 125 people in Maharashtra, 91 people in Odisha, 68 people in Rajasthan, 65 people in tamil Nadu, 26 people in Uttar Pradesh, and 56 people in West bengal are reported to be infected, and receiving treatment.
