We all know that the earth is dynamic on its axis. Earthquake tremors are caused by vibrations in the outermost layer of the rotating earth. For this, when two blocks of the earth suddenly collide with each other due to some fault, then due to this factor the vibration is created, which becomes the cause of an earthquake. There are two main points of an earthquake. The first hypocenter (Earthquake Hypocenter), is the starting point of an earthquake below the surdata-face of the earth. Second Epicenter (Earthquake Epicenter), is the point on the surdata-face just above the hypocenter. Why do more earthquakes occur in Delhi-NCR?The Bureau of indian Standards has divided the entire country into four zones according to the macro seismic zoning map. These zones are divided from Zone-5 (high intensity) to Zone-2 (low intensity) in terms of the severity of the threat. The belt from delhi to mumbai is counted in Zone-4, which comes under the category of 'severe' in terms of seismic vibrations.
