First Battle of Tarain (1191)-foundation for Muslim rule!!!

This battle was fought in 1191 near the town of Taraori in present-day haryana and proved to be a turning point in the history of the subcontinent. In this battle, the Rajput confederacy, led by the valiant prithviraj Chauhan, data-faced the powerful forces of the Ghurid Empire, which was under Muhammad Ghori. The battle saw intense fighting and strategic maneuvers, and the Rajputs were ultimately victorious. This victory was an important demonstration of Rajput military power and reaffirmed their sovereignty. However, this victory could not last long, as it set the stage for the second battle of Tarain, which took place in 1192, in which Ghori returned with a stronger army and defeated Prithviraj. This defeat laid the foundation for Muslim rule in North India.

Second Battle of panipat (1556)

The Second Battle of panipat was an important military conflict that took place on 5 november 1556. This battle was a defining moment in indian history, in which Mughal forces and Hem Chandra Vikramaditya's (Hemu) army came data-face to data-face. The main reason for this war was to re-establish the power of the Mughal Empire. After Babur's death, his son Akbar was young and the regent Bairam Khan took power.

Hem Chandra Vikramaditya, popularly known as Hemu, had expanded his rule in North india and challenged the Mughals. The battle took place at panipat and both sides used a large number of war elephants. Hem Chandra vikramaditya was riding an elephant during the battle when a slanting arrow hit him in the eye and he fell unconscious. His fall caused panic in his army. The Mughal army won as a result, leading to the return of the Mughal Empire, this battle proved to be important in laying the foundation for Akbar's rule, which consolidated the Mughal Empire in India.
