It is against this backdrop that governments are taking concrete steps. Corona vaccine distribution in the country started in January. But, there is still distrust of corona vaccines in some places.
Aurangabad district has been directed to complete the vaccination of all those who are 100 per cent eligible by the end of this month. In this context, the district administration took key decisions.
The directives went into effect on the 9th of this month. It has made it mandatory for all workers working in hotels, resorts, and shops located in tourist spots to be vaccinated.
Those who have not taken the first dose above 18 years of age and are not eligible for both doses are prohibited from visiting the Bibi Ka Makbara, Ajanta Caves, Daulatabad Fort, and Ellora Caves in the tourist areas of the district.
Employees working in all government offices, tour operators are strictly required to take both doses.
