Now gently rotate the saree clockwise 5-6 times, then do the same anticlockwise.

Now take out the saree and rinse it with clean water until the soap bubbles are completely gone. Cover both the sides by placing it between a large towel to remove excess water. press lightly and without jerking, or squeezing, remove the towel and dry it on a string or hanger in that position.

If you are washing the saree in the washing machine, do not wash any other clothes with it. Instead of putting the sari in the machine openly, put it in a packet containing clothes put it in the machine, and work with a gentle cleanser. Always wash chiffon in cold water. After washing, remove soap and water put it again in a clockwise tub, and drain the water by placing it between a large towel, then let it dry.

Whether it is a light color or dark saree, always dry it in the shade. The specialty of chiffon is that it will not have much problem in drying even in the rain. * If the saree is with work or heavy lace, then the option of dry clean will be the best. * Before pressing, always spread the chiffon on the board and spread the folds with your hands. After this, spread a thin towel or cotton cloth on the sari and press by selecting the silk or fragile option. Always do the press with light hands and avoid keeping the press in one place for a long time.

Do not hang chiffon in the cupboard or anywhere in one position for a long time. If you want to keep it for a short time, always use a cushioned holder and keep turning the clock in between.

Avoid sharp accessories * Chiffon is likewise one of the body-fitting fabrics. So do not wrap it tight while wearing it. * Avoid using safety pins to make pallu or pleats. Sometimes even a single thread is pulled, there is a fear of spoiling the whole sari.

 To avoid inconvenience, if you want, you can take or get ready-to-wear ie sewing sarees made in chiffon material as you wish. With this, you will not have to worry about attaching the pallu or pleats to the pin.
