The india Meteorological Department said that a heat wave warning in many states of the country. With the peak of summer in india now, various states are taking precautionary measures to data-face the intense heat. people have been advised to avoid going out during this time if possible or take appropriate precautions as the sun is at its peak between 11 am and 3 pm.
Meanwhile, the india Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning for several states. Accordingly, the states including West bengal, Bihar, and Coastal andhra pradesh will be affected by hot air for the next 4-5 days. Also, hot winds will blow over punjab and haryana for the next two days. Hence, Orange Alert has been issued as the temperature will reach a peak in the above states in the next few days. Hence, people are advised to be cautious. Following this warning from the Meteorological Centre, the state government has ordered a week-long holiday for gravel companies in West bengal starting today.
Also, in some parts of Odisha, the temperature has reached 42, 43 degrees. In Maharashtra, 11 people died due to heat exhaustion at a public event led by Union home minister amit shah yesterday. As this incident has caused great shock, the opposition parties have condemned and demanded an investigation.
