Reportedly if you are dreaming of joining the indian Army, Paramilitary Force and police, then keep your hobby under control. Actually, your hobby can come in the way of these services. In the recent past, thousands of such cases have been seen, in which despite having talent and ability, the youth had to be out of the race of recruitment in the Army, Paramilitary Force and police only due to their hobby, but you must be wondering why the youth had to look for a way out despite having talent and ability?
Perhaps there are very strict rules regarding tattoos in the indian Army, Paramilitary Force and Police. In these armed forces, tattoos are allowed only on a specific class and selected parts of the body. Only certain types of tattoos can be done at permitted places. Also, it is mandatory to inform the recruitment board of the concerned armed force about these tattoos at the time of application. For your information, let us tell you that as per the rules of recruitment of all the three wings of the indian Army i.e. Army, air Force and Navy as well as Paramilitary and police, any candidate can get only religious symbols and tattoos related to his name. These tattoos can be on the outer part of the palm.
Moreover in all the three wings of the indian Army, tattoos are allowed in the inner part of the hand, below the elbow and in the upper part of the palm. However, it is not clear in the rules what should be the data-size of these tattoos. Apart from these two parts, tattoos are not allowed in any part of the body. However, there are some categories in the rules of the Armed Forces, under which the candidates are allowed to get tattoos on any part of the body. According to the rules, candidates falling under the Scheduled Castes and scheduled tribes listed by the government of india can get tattoos on any part of their body.
