Speculations of TikTok coming to india intensify
For the last few days, there has been speculation about TikTok coming back to India. Meanwhile, these job openings have given it a boost again. However, to put an end to the discussions about TikTok's return to india recently, indian officials had said that this app is not going to return in the near future.
ByteDance has confirmed that the app is still banned in India. In such a situation, after seeing this job opening on a professional networking site like LinkedIn, people are speculating that perhaps the government is considering lifting the ban. For which two posts are the vacancies released?
In LinkedIn, ByteDance has released two vacancies for its gurgaon office - a Content Moderator, who knows bengali and a Wellbeing Partnership and Operations Lead. More than 100 people have applied within three days for this vacancy.
However, it is worth noting here that even though the company's website has started opening again in india, it is still not available for download on both google Play Store and apple App Store. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology has also given a clarification saying that the news of TikTok coming to india is false.
