Two-day strike by bank Employees..!?

Banks across india have declared a general strike on february 23 and february 24 which is a two-day strike by bank employees in protest of the federal government's 'anti-labor' policies. Thus these two days banks will not work. On january 3, 2022, the Central Committee of the All india bank Employees' Union (AIBEA) decided to join the strike and issued a proclamation announcing the various demands of the central unions for a general strike before the start of the budget meeting in December.
It is noteworthy that the banking unions had earlier called for a two-day strike in march and december 2021 against the privatization of two public sector banks. It is currently protesting against the federal government's 'anti-labor' policies. The important consultative meeting of the Confederation of indian Trade Unions (CITU), the central trading body, was convened on december 3, 2021, at which the day was set for a two-day strike.

 It is noteworthy that this struggle is being waged with about 12 important demands. 
The most important demand of all the sector organizations participating in this struggle is to stop the privatization of the central government. It has also been announced that the banking system should break the labor rules and the Defense services Rules.


As a result, public sector banks will not operate due to the bank employees' strike on february 23 and 24, but the ATM and cash deposit machine services of public sector banks will be operational.
