Russia shocks Google...3000 crores fine!!


Moscow has repeatedly warned google not to remove or replay such content from its site, YouTube.


Russia has fined google Rs 3,000 crore for allegedly running misleading news during the war with Ukraine.

A moscow court found google guilty of running illegal, misleading news against russia and providing false content about the ukraine War. 

The court found google guilty of failing to remove such content from YouTube, among other places, despite repeated warnings from the government.

Google has been fined 21.1 billion rubles (about Rs 3,000 crore) for this reason.

The Tansky court fined google $373 million, regulator Roskmenzor said.

The court issued a stern warning to YouTube that the company was not removing the prohibited material from its site despite repeated requests.

YouTube has said it will not remove material from its platform of military operations during the ukraine war.

At the same time, the court determined the amount of the fine against google according to its total annual turnover in Russia.

The company was also fined 7.2 billion rubles last year.

The google account in russia was also seized.

Along with this, bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated against the company.

In such circumstances, it has become difficult to pay salaries to employees.

But platforms like twitter and Meta are running rampant.

"The biggest reason for this is Google's campaign against us," Roskmenzor said.


In the latest case, the court found that YouTube also incites Russian youth to engage in illegal protests.

For this, the company uses online surveys to incite people against the government.

Uses prohibited video content to mislead children.

Anton Gorkin, deputy head of the parliamentary committee on information policy, said that google shows false content against Russian law.

He said that he does not understand why this company is following this policy.. Because of this it will lose its market in Russia.
