Shaktikanta Das has said that the domestic economy remains strong and the central bank estimates that India's economic growth will be 7 percent this year. He has also said that the banking sector remains stable. In the current situation, the growth figures are looking good, due to which good signs can be given in the growth rate.

The RBI governor has said about the IMF's estimate that india will grow at the rate of about 6.8 percent in the current year. This can make india one of the fastest growing major economies in the world. He said that the whole world has suffered three major shocks of the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in ukraine and now financial market volatility and the remaining effects are also being felt by emerging economies.

The economic data coming for the last few months has been giving a jolt to the people, but the RBI hopes that the october data can provide relief at the economic level. Shaktikanta Das has said that the inflation figures for october will be a relief as compared to September. RBI governor said that retail inflation is likely to be less than 7% in October.
