Director Shankar contributes 10 Lakhs
People of Chennai after facing a bad time even though there are no rains. The water logs and swaps are spreading prone diseases. Medical camps are seen in every corner. Rescue operations are done by nearby people and NGO's. Relief measures are still being done in every corner.
Kollywood celebrities in particular did lots of help. Every one came down to help. Actor Siddharth started the fire and later many of them joined him. Many actors donated generously. The news spread around and even Bollywood actors contributed in Crores.
Telugu actors donated a lot and even after that they were asking donations from fans and they were providing all the necessities. Female leads are also doing their part. As rains stopped, people are starting to go back to their livelihood. But most of the houses are damaged.
People seek more money and Government has promised to give Rs.10,000 per head. Now Director Shankar has contributed a sum of Rs.10 Lakhs from his part. He gave the money yesterday to Chief Minister relief fund.
