FIRST REPORT :: Vikram's INKOKKADU / IRU MUGAN is Pretty Sloppy !

SIBY JEYYA

The much anticipated 'Iru Mugan' has finally hit screens and the movie has got huge expectations due to a mind-boggling trailer. However just like 'Kabali', the trailer was so good and the movie ends up sloppy. Well, we bring you the first report as always.

The movie started off on an interesting note showcasing Indian Embassy in Malaysia. Vikram does role of an Ex-Under cover cop Akilan Anand and he scores as always. His body language was so perfect. In between, Miscreants attack Indian Embassy.

Nithya Menen is Main case officer and she has been assigned to assist him and to bring culprits into justice. The story then sets off where Akhil starts his investigation. Very soon, we find another Vikram character 'LOVE'. This is indeed an interesting one.

Then we get some Drug concepts and some same old routine stuff. Nayantara seems to lose panache once again. After a disastrous 'Thirunaal', she fails yet again. Harris Jayaraj who mesmerized us with 'Halena' has failed in Background score.

In second half we came to know that Love has killed Akhil's wife Meera and as usual good triumphs. Screenplay and Narration are even more worse. It's better to wait for Home DVD.
