Actor Karthi, last seen in the Maniratnam introduce Kaatru Veliyidai, will next be seen in Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru/ Khaki, which will release worldwide in both Tamil and Telugu on November 17. The actor is determined to break his flop streak (Kaashmora, Kaatru Veliyidai) with this cop flick directed by Sathuranga Vettai fame H.Vinoth, Costarring Rakul Preet Singh.
Meanwhile, works on the actor's next have also begun, and Karthi's next will be a romantic, family entertainer, that will be directed by Pandiraj and produced by Studio Green and Actor Suriya's 2D Entertainment together. This project was rumored to have Keerthy Suresh pairing with Karthi, however, the news is out on the actual cast of the movie.
Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, who shot to fame as a news reader in Puthiya Thalaimurai channel, and a serial in Vijay TV, and recently made her film debut with the Diwali sleeper hit Meyaadha Maan, will play the female lead opposite Karthi in this Pandiraj flick. Besides, the makers are in talks with mallu Beauty Anupama Parameswaran to play the second lead.
