Will He or Won't He?
2017 witnessed the arrival of one of the biggest stars of world cinema and the pride of Indian cinema, Padmashri Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan to the small screens, as he turned out to be the host of the first season of the Tamil version of the hugely popular reality game show Bigg Boss, on Star Vijay TV.
Following the grand success of the first season, it was expected that the channel will begin the second session soon, however, it has been reported that this second season will be taken over by the Newly launched Colors Tamil channel, after it ends the contract with star Vijay soon. It must be noted that Colors Tamil is already taking over most of the programs from other channels, like Naagini.
On the other hand, while it was speculated that Kamal Hassan might not be able to accommodate hosting of Bigg boss 2 in his schedule, as he has joined active politics, and names like Suriya and Madhavan were reported to be negotiated to host, the rumours have been dismissed, stating that Kamal himself will be hosting the second season too, as he thinks Bigg boss as a platform to connect to public, and had reportedly even got token advance.
