Rising hero of Kollywood Siva Karthikeyan, who was last seen in the social thriller Velaikkaran directed by Mohan Raja, is back to his fort, his trademark comedy entertainer, with his favorite director Ponram, with their third collaboration Seemaraja, also starring Soori, Samantha and Simran. Seemaraja (Siva Karthikeyan) is a happy go lucky youngster from a royal family, leading a rich lifestyle along with his sidekick and assistant Maths (Soori) and is most often seen either resolving disputes or as part of disputes bashing baddies. He falls for Sudhandhira Devi (Samantha), and at the same time, situations lead to Seemaraja clashing with Kaleeswari (Simran). Was Seemaraja able to win Sudhandhira Devi's love and overpower Kaleeswari's evil plans, and how Seemaraja is linked to king Kadambavel Raja, is what the extremely entertaining, fun-filled mass entertainer Seemaraja is all about.

Simran as Kaleeswari is menacing and scheming and is every inch a typical rural antagonist and plays her part to perfection. Keerthy Suresh's cameo is sweet and lovely while the rest of the cast including Lal and Napoleon are adequate.D Imman's background score is

and elevates heroism perfectly at many necessary areas while of his songs
